Find out how to get inspection reports that are not
available on our website.
Reports in different formats and langauges
We want people to be able to access this information. If you
would like summary versions of our reports in different
formats or languages, please contact
us.
Reports written between inspections
Sometimes we make extra visits to care services in between
inspections. This may be:
- to follow up a problem found at the last inspection
- in response to a complaint about the service
- to support services that are struggling.
After the visit we write to the service to say what we found and
to draw their attention to anything that needs to be improved.
Contact us if you would like copies of
any of these letters.
Services recently registered under a new owner
A care service that has existed for some time and is taken over
by a new owner will need to be inspected by us before an inspection
report is available on our website.
To get copies of inspection reports completed for a previous
owner of a care service, please contact
us.
Services recently registered as a new service
Care services that have only recently registered as a new
service will have not yet been inspected by us.
This means that no inspection reports will be available until
after their first inspection has been completed, which is normally
within the first year of their new registration.
Services no longer registered
When a care home or care service closes down we take it off our
list of registered services.
